This recipe was difficult to convert. Some of the ingredients are not available here (or I have not found them yet). See the links accordingly. And the amounts are a little strange as they are converted from US measurements. For those with US measuring cups, go here for the original version.

 
Brownies  
  113 g baking chocolate
  125 g butter
  250 g sugar
  3 eggs
  0.5 ml vanilla powder
  210 g flour (mehl)
  3 ml salt

  Melt the chocolate and the butter over very low heat. Let it cool a little bit, then mix with sugar and eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and the salt, then add this to the chocolate mixture. Stir well. Pour batter into a buttered pan (Pfanne? Backform?) about 20cm by 20 cm. Bake in a 190°C oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick (Zahnstocker) inserted into the center comes out clean. If you use really the wrong size pan they will cook too fast or too slow, or parts will be too dry and others not cooked.
